THE WISCONSIN AT UNLV GAME WAS SUSPENDED DUE TO A POWER OUTAGE WITH
7:57 LEFT IN THE 4TH QTR. FOR WAGERING PURPOSES COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAMES
MUST GO 55 MINUTES TO BE CONSIDERED ACTION. SIDE AND TOTAL ARE CONSIDERED
NO ACTION.
1ST HALF WAGERS ARE ACTION.
I had the Whisky Badgers, oh well, some days you are the dog and some days the hydrant.

The lights went out--unbelievable. There's a rumor that it wasn't a coincidence.
What was the big deal with this one particular game? The fact that something extraordinary happened or was there a betting aspect to this game that I am missing (was it a popular betting game before it started?)

Interesting that some books would stray from the rules, which are pretty much across the board.
The rule is in there just for cases like this. Or weather.
I can see those who had Wisconsin (I did as well) feeling they had the right side and should be paid, but then, we've all been watching football long enough to know that ANYTHING can happen in 7 minutes!!
