When is the best time to get a good number ???

I was reading Brooksie’s posting about “who has the best football line” and a question popped in to my head.

“ When is the best time to get a good number ??? ”, the opening line, during the week or the closing line (10 to 5 min before the game starts).

I would like to know your opinion….

He makes an excellent point. Really depends on which side you're going to be on.

There's just as much value being on either side of a line move. If a game moves from 6 to 8, and you play early and get the -6, you've got some value on your play. If you see an 8.5 just prior to kick off and you like the dog, again, more value.

If you're getting the best number on any given game, whichever side you're on, you'll do ok over the long haul.

If you have a real good opinion, you'd benefit from taking cracks at the openers......
