Tonight we will witness a “great fight”, hopefully. Two different schools
De la Hoya, who represents the boxing finesse against Vargas who’s represents those street fighters with a big heart.
De la Hoya: cold minded, more experienced and technically gifted. He fights very intelligently.
One point against, is that 154 pounds is not his natural weight. He struggles to win in this weight, so much so that he will use heavier gloves to level up the punches. Would this make him lose speed, which is his main strength…???
The “Golden Boy”, will try to shut up Vargas. But for Oscar this is one more fight…!
Vargas: a lot of courage, brave heart and he punches real hard. 154pounds is his natural weight.
It’s easy to know what his feelings are, and for this particular fight he has a hunger to be protagonist, to be part of the elite group of Mexican boxers.
“El Feroz” Vargas, will have to back up all the trash that he have talked about Oscar…
