Quite a few books allow one free withdrawal per month. Many don't charge if the amount is over $500.

We'll work on a list of free withdraws......

Intertops has free transfers with neteller in and out. Only drawback is that they don't seem to process the neteller payouts as fast as other books.

My experience has been that if your entilted to 1 free PO per month and you use Neteller they stiill charge you. ( Neteller that is) The free PO is from the book to Neteller. Sportbet does that and they will not credit you back the neteller fee. That's one reason I no longer use them.

I rarely encounter Neteller fees. I think Carib is the only book that charges me. There's a couple, as Jeff mentioned, that give you one free per month but most pick up the charges on all my transfers.

I didn't think Neteller charged the players the fees, I thought they only charged the merchant the fees. Do the merchants pass these on to the player ALL the time? In other words, you can get one free withdrawal per month but if you use Neteller it is never free?

I think everyone would want their customers to use Neteller.

Neteller always charges a fee. It is up to the Book to credit you back. In the case of Sportbet, they said thier free PO was to neteller and they would not credit me back. If they used couriers, I would have gone that route and there would have been no problem, but they don't for some reason.
Sportbooks are only a small part of netellers business, E-bay person to person etc. I really don't see what the advantage is using them IF you can get a check via Fed-ex or Ups with is faster.

I think what makes the neteller convienent is not the withdrawl to collect your money but the ability to transfer from one book to another in a matter of minutes.

This solves the problem of doing book to book transfers only to have the book go under and have both books claim they don't have your money.

Right, Neteller is very good for transferring between outs. It isn't as good if you are constantly moving money to your bank account (or your credit cards) as there is a time delay just as if you were dealing directly with the sportsbook. They do have a debit card of sorts now, I believe; however, their main function remains as a transfer agency.

Rumors about financial insecurity? I don't think they would be in trouble unless the credit card companies have caught on and are causing problems or if there was a large amount of fraud. They had always been pretty security conscious in the past.
