BoDog Sportsbook & Casino has become the first sportsbook in the world to offer odds on high school basketball sensation Lebron James.
James' high school team, St. Vincent-St. Mary's of Akron, Ohio is playing a nationally televised game on Thursday against prep powerhouse Oak Hill Academy. ESPN2 will carry the game live (7:30 pm ET).
"This young man is creating quite the buzz in the sports world," said BoDog Operations Manager, Rob Gillespie. "With the entire world set to watch this young man on TV, we wanted to give viewers an extra incentive to watch."
James has been picked by many to be the first overall pick in the NBA draft this June. Players can bet on a Lebron James multi-prop for the total number of points scored by the 6'7" phenom nicknamed "King James".
