What's Going on in Costa Rica?

Rumors are flying all over the place that several large books are going to pick up and move, the two larges banks in the country are forcing sportsbook/casino clients out because they don't want the business anymore, and this will cause the death of the post-up business there (some say it's already dead).

Panama has apparently put a licensing structure in place to lure the sportsbooks there....and it is more affordable than that in Costa Rica. Big Nasa is supposedly looking to move at least part of their operation out of the country?

Anyone have the straight story on this?

there is a lot of talk about big places leaving because of the taxes. And the bank problem has just added to the problems.

there are a lot of nervous employees here this days.
