  • Week 4 Early review The Bears

Week 4 and the dust has not settled onto the carpet..

It is early, very early and I see the Bears are only a 4.0 dog at home.

Dont tell me it's the re-opening of Soldier Field keeping this line down (I am sure it's worth a point).

Or perhaps it is the fact that since 1920 the bears have won 5 home opening games in new stadiums (5-0 )where-ever they open, including wrigley field in the 20's)

Or maybe it's just considered a down right war between these two teams.

But...this year is different, Green Bay coming off a huge loss (let-down against AZ) and the Bears have ZERO offense period.

Green Bay has dominated the Bears over the last 10 games head to head, on the road or away.

Bears have one player, Mr. Erlaucher and it is not enough.

I look for The packers to roll on Monday night... -4.0 is a gift

It's early but my first blush

    Good Luck to all.

Just what the hell is wrong with Ted phillips....13-4 to nothing?

This is a team that just maybe won't win a game

Offensive line gone, no new blood, Big Cat Williams gone, no real holes for the running game.

STEWART runs the ball alot, just a matter of time before his head is left on the field and chandler steps in.

It breaks my heart to see the monsters of the midway reduced to teddy bears.

Two in a row Carpet - Tampa in week 3 and the Pack in week 4. Get your week 5 early bird out there ASAP - I have been cleaning house the first 4 weeks, but I don't see a gimme jumping out at me in week 5.

San Francisco looks REAL good laying 7.5. The Niners have not looked themselves as of late...Mooch will try TOO hard to beat the team that let him go and his players will make mistakes because of it! With the exception of last week in Minnesota, the niners have been playing well. Penalties and the Prevent defense cost them against the Browns and Cedrick Wilson cost them against the Rams. Rumors are flying that Jason Webster MIGHT make this game!! The Lions are coming off a heartbreaker against Denver. There was a time, late in the game, that they actually could have won had it not been for some questionable playcalling and better execution. I'll have a deeper breakdown on Friday.

Wednesday....really like Boston and the UNDER

        Good luck,
