Good call again on Gordon Dylan. Pinnacle must love you .

You got lucky on Robby over Jarrett as Jarrett had him beat if he didn't smack the wall but all's fair in love and qualifying .

Do you think anyone can beat Jeff in the race? I'm seeing 4/1 on him everywhere. The books must be loaded on him pre-qualifying. I'm hoping he has a poor practice tomorrow so we can get some decent odds.

Thanks. Yeah I got real lucky w/ the Jarrett wreck. Robby Gordon was way faster than DJ in the first practice and then Robby ran two horrible qualifying laps. I think Kenseth would have beat DJ.
As for the race bets, I'll have to see the times from Sat practices, but I'm expecting the 24 to be quick again.

                  dylan24 -

I greatly appreciate your posting your picks on this board.

I understand why you post your qualifying picks late - you don't want to lose the lines when you make your own plays.
But why do you post your race picks so late (1/2 hour before the race today)?
Since you are almost always picking drivers whose price is dropping, I assume that you are making your picks much earlier than just before the race starts, to try to get a better number.
I value your opinion, and would be grateful if you were able to put them up earlier.

Was also wondering why you didn't pick Gordon today? I was sure you would, but obviously I'm wrong. I've noticed that you're not afraid to take drivers at very low odds - so was wondering what led you to leave him out today?

                  Thanks.

PeeWee. I'm sure you are aware of this. He ALMOST ALWAYS puts up the plays overnight on Saturday. He must have had something to do that prevented him from posting earlier. People do have lives, you know.

                    Cut the guy some slack,
                    good luck to all,

Apologies if it appeared I'm jumping on you. Not at all.
I'm out west, and before I go to sleep Sat. pm, I always check for your race picks. I guess you usually post them late Sat./early Sun.

Ricker is correct - they're usually there when I wake up Sunday. And I agree with Ricker - today was unusual for your posting time.

Again, sorry if my note above seems out of line. Wasn't my intent at all.

Gordon was 6th in happy hour so I reluctantly passed on him. I almost put 10 units on him at 5/1 but didn't. I don't post qual plays until they go OTB. I've explained in the past why I do that.
I didn't post until this morning because I didn't have a chance to post earlier. I usually try to post my race bets late Sat night.

Hmm next week is Atlanta. I'm amazed how many drivers are sweeping races this year. Can Bobby do it again? I'll try him if I can get 10/1 or better before qualifying.

Pole bet seems easy enough with Ryan Newman. He hasn't done great in Atlanta though with 3 straight 10th place finishes. Still at 3/1 or higher I'll bet him for the pole otherwise I'll pass.
