illinois -7.0 VS Memphis

Illinois is at home today hosting Memphis, 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS Illinois is a 7 point chalk.

Illinois is 42-1 at home last three years and are 54-2 the last 4 years at home (The best record in the nation)

Illinois guard Deron Williams will not play as he suffered a broken jaw against Maryland Eastern Shore (A very dirty team). This is a big loss and he is not expected back until January.

Luther Head will start in his place, With Williams out look for freshman Richard McBride to see plenty of playing time, this kid was a 3 time all stater in Illinois as a HS player, and he can shoot the rock.

Illinois inside game is just to strong for memphis to stay with them all game, I see alot of fouls piling up against Memphis and there bench is not that deep to have the starters watching from the bench.

I like Illinois to cover this spread with plenty of room to spare..

Illinois covers the spread with McBride the rookie hitting 6 tray's, the inside game was just to much for Memphis.

I can bet that the coach of the Illini will focus in on free throws in practice this week as no one has ever seen.
