PLAYOFF Football anyone??? I NEED SOME HEGING ADVICE

Hey everybody, hopefully someone out there
can give me a hand on a wager. I placed a 10
dollar bet on carolina to win the nfc a long time
ago when it was at 36-1... now, there has to
be away for me to come out ahead this
weekend with that in mind.. No, we got the
Rams favored by 7 over the panthers, so
what should I do? Should i bet the panthers
with the points to cover my ass if they lose
the game? or should I bet the rams????
Someone please help me out, i am not too
familiar with hedging my bets.

Also, history has shown that in the playoffs
when a team destroys another team, they
usually lose the next game in the playoffs..
for example: the superbowl back a few
years ago, the giants KILLED the vikings in
the NFC title game, then went on to get
spanked by the ravens in the superbowl.
Also, a few years before that the Dolphis
with marino in his last game got KILLED
against the jaguars i believe by like 50
points, then the jags got beat by i think
the titans??? i could be wrong, but wouldntt
this point to an easy KC win over the colts?

I'd hedge - something is better than nothing IMO. How you accomplish that at this point is up to you.

If you really want to hedge, your safest bet is to bet on the Rams to win carolina on the moneyline, the current odds on that are - 300. That way if the Panthers lose tonight, you'll get something.

However, If the panthers win then they'll be playing either Tennesee or new england for the nfc championship and you'll have to hedge again on either tennesee or New england if you want to guarantee yourself a payout.

You won't make much on the -300 play, you'll get 33 bucks profit on a 100 dollar wager on the rams moneyline, so another option is to play a 2 game teaser for 6.5 points on the rams so that line will be brought down to -1/2 for the rams and you throw in another football play or basketball play as the 2nd team in that teaser.

If i was in this situation i'd probably do a 2 team teaser for 6.5 or 7 points on the Rams and on the Packers so you'd have:

Rams pick' em
Packers +13

Hope you did not get teased. I think the Panthers have a great shot against the eagles or Pack! Who does not love Jake Delahomme! That idiot Haslett let the wrong QB go.......
