St. Louis were heavy favorites yesterday and suckered me in. Dad blame it, lost the exact money I was goin’ to get my kidney stones done. If I find em, I make a nice necklace for my wife lug nut to wear.
Only thing that looks decent to me today is Cubs over Montreal, but damn, the ML would choke a hound. Tell ya what I’m gonna do,
Cubs Team Total to go over 4 ½ for the game. 40 to win 30.
Well, I’m glad to be back home, walkin’ down the street, listen to all the hubcap wind chimes in every house. Geeze, I hate to be away from home, I miss my pig and manure farm. And then of course, there’s papa, he’s buried out back and I need to protect the plot from animals tryin’ to dig him up.
I’ll write a story about my adventures in Calif. And post it somewhere around here.
