  • Michigan @ Purdue

    (NCAAF) Michigan@Purdue
    2* Michigan +4.5

Purdue has slowed a bit the past 2 weeks vs. top-notch defenses, and they take on another one here. Michigan's defense is athletic at all positions and are allowing only 203 passing ypg and have 14 interceptions on the seasons. The linebackers have the ability to play the underneath stuff Purdue likes to throw. Michigan annually owns this matchup, winning 12 of 14, while the dog has actually posted a 9-5 ATS mark. Purdue has yet to cover a Big 10 game this year, going 0-3 ATS, and could have easily been upset against both Illinois and Penn State. Michigan is superior to both of these and their defense certainly has what it takes to bring this one home.

    Straight up winner with Michigan...

Lets try a NFL play for today:

    (NFL) New Orleans@Oakland
    2* Over 44

New Orleans ranks in the bottom 6 in the NFL in both passing defense and rushing defense, but their offense looks to be humming along with McAllister returning to form the past 2 weeks. Oakland has been up and down on offense this year, but this opponent may be just what the doctor ordered. Denver proved last week that running on Oakland isn't too hard a chore, and with these teams giving up a combined 62 ppg on defense their past 3 games, the scoreboard will be busy Sunday afternoon.
