wow!! i am a prop playing hound and this was (unfortunately) my second biggest play for the SB. (29.5 -130 @ WSEX). there were no planned QB draws, barely any rollouts, and basically nothing in the game plan to get mcnabb on the move. i thought andy reid was smarter than this and knew mcnabb had to have some rushing #s to have a shot here.
that was painfully evident late in the 4th Q down 10 points and mcnabb lollygagging in and out of the huddle like it was a july workout and an abundance of time to play with. what a disgrace. that falls on the coach and some suspect leadership from the man i thought was the key to me hitting on my straight bet getting those 7 points. philly covered in spite of mcnabb stinking up the place.
btw, TO can say whatever jibberish he wants. that dude is THE MAN! what he did under those circumstances was simply unbelievable.
I agree about TO. He Shut ALL the damn Sports radio guys up which was great to see!
I am glad I'm not a Philly fan cuz I, like you, could not believe how lackadaisical McNabb was playing! It blew my mind to see him in the 2 min. drill!
I hated all the crap that was said about McNabb at the beginning of the year due to Rush Limbaugh's idiotic comments and now, we'll have to hear sports talk radio ask if he was right all season!
I couldn't agree more. That image of Mcnabb is forever burned into my brain......nonchalantly strutting up to the line of scrimage as if it were a pee-wee flag football game. Where was the sense of urgency?? Unreal.
