  • Curious about heavy action

I'm just curious what one's idea of heavy action is? I mostly like 50 to 100 dollar 3-team parlays, but I seriously doubt that's heavy. I like to hear about people winning big, or betting big, it's exciting. How much action do you guys normally go with?

well, what would the irs have to do with anything? it's all offshore for one thing, and another, i have no idea what country you guys are from, except the comment from the irs, and we know dr ray is from tampa bay, but no big deal. for all i know everyone goes to vegas to wager.. but anyways....it's just interesting how some people win a lot of money, or even how they have that much too lose....i'm just curious as to how much they place...

umm, i notice a lot of people are hitting the thread, but no responses. is it bad luck to say how much you wager, not win, but just place...it's so interesting.. i have heard of people that place 100k on first half, 100k on game, and then 100k on second half...i don't care who you are, that's interesting!

It's really no ones business nor does it matter how much someone bets. It's just as interesting for the guy that bets $50 as it is for the guy that bets $100,000.

                ok, ok, sorry guys

sorry for stepping on anyone's toes, had no intention of offending anyone. it's not like we're depending on these games for a mortgage or car payment, right? it's all about the fun, so it should be fun to say how much you won last night, people do at the casino's. but....i truly am sorry that some people lost sleep over this thread last night, i won't mention it anymore.....now let's win some freakin' money this weekend!!!!

For what it's worth, I highly doubt that anyone searching this site for wagering insight is plopping down 100k on a game......Unless of course he's an ex-Enron chief that just busted out.......Let's face it, it's all relative to each individual........5 bucks, 5 dimes, 50k, it's all for bragging rights, and the mere sake of being right.......and when you are, you pad the wallet accordingly.
                  ;)

Yeah, what he said...and if you don't think the IRS (and other lowlifes) would be interested in those plopping down big cash you're crazy

hey thanks for not dogging me about being curious. a game is not fun to watch unless you have action on it period! i would much rather have $2k riding on the super bowl at a party at my house with many friends, than pay $2k for a nose bleed seat with just one person i know. it would be much more fun in the comfort of my home, with a bathroom and lots of food close!
