MU is carrying a 10 game losing streak at assembly hall,
and the Carpet expects that to grow to 11 after today.
MU is a team with 4 captains (who is steering the ship ?)
Senior Wingman Lester Abrams who has missed the last
2 games due to a sprained toe will be back in play for
this game.
This Michigan team has talent and they love to
bang the boards, against Indiana they grabbed 42 boards.
MU free throw avg is also good for 2nd in the big 10 at 74%
What really hurts MU is the turnovers per game they
are averaging 15 a game, and against Indiana they gave it
away 22 times.. MU plays very inconsistent basketball
and it shows time and time again....
Illinois is 87-3 at the Hall the last 6 years best mark in
the Nation, and under coach weber they are 36-1
Illini D is holding teams to 55 points a game...
Illinois Defense will be just to much for MU as I
see Illinois packing it INSIDE with the bigs and forcing MU
to hit the long range shot, which they are not good at.
Coach Weber has put this team thru the most intense
practice they have had all year. The focus was all about
ENERGY and movement. You can bet if weber sees anybody
standing around they will be quick to grab some pine.
When you look at team stats and averages, these 2 teams
matchup almost identical with the exception of FT % which favors
MU and Turnovers which heavily favors Illinois.
I love Illinois winning this game, but I cant see 12 points
My numbers are coming in at Illinois by 8
