Illinois travels to Indiana for another Big Game in
the Big 10 season....
The Game opens as a pickem. The O/U is 135
A Look at Indiana
A very talented team, the Hoosiers lead the
nation in 3 point FG % at 47%. They are also
an impressive 53% from the floor...
Inside game centers around Killingsworth for Indy,
a guy who should be a TOP 5 pick to go NBA next year
the way he just dominates. This whole game centers around controlling
this Big Guy......
How to beat Indiana
Dont let Killingsworth sit in the lane, The Illini must go after him,
Last game vs MSU there was 6 non-called 3 sec violations as he
planted himself. Kill loves to use the elbow hook alot, Alert the
refs to this early and often.
Coach Izzo said during half time (talking about Kill) sitting
in the lane to long..."I dont know if that's our fault or someone
else's".
Push the ball, Illinois must push the ball up court to win
this game, Killingsworth cannot run with Augustine, he was
on the bench begging for air vs MSU and Davis....
Indiana is not a great rebounding team and Illinois should
maintain the edge in this department....
Illinois has already chosen to sacrifice at least 2 players
going after Killingsworth in the foul department and I expect
a WAR for the entire game....
It's always tough to win at Indiana, Duke pulled it off Nov 30
of this year, they let Killingsworth get his 30 or so and focused on the
outside 3 point defense....
THE BOTTOM LINE......
I see this game coming down to the last shot,
a run and gun type game.......
My play is the OVER 135 ......My numbers say 145
