College Hoops Starting 2/28

Had a few good days of late but crapped out last night.

Been having some success with my ML parlays using a big fav -350 to -400 and pairing it with a small fav -185 or less. Get about 11/10 odds on this type of wager. I have hit 3 of my last 5.

Tuesday:

Illinois -400 over Minny
Detroit -185 over Cleveland State


Looking at Mizzou/ISU game too. Clones off a huge loss at Baylor so they may come out pissed or decided to give up. Think its senior night in Ames. Looking at in closer and will be back.

Illinois -3.5 vs Minny

Woodee you asked me about this game....

It's Senior night for the Gophers and they are
loaded with 5th year seniors playing the last game at
home. This should be a big lift for this team.

Minny has been playing well as of late especially
at home. The Gophers are coming off a tough loss
Sunday at Wisconsin.

Illinois seems to have found it's swagger again,
and with Minny playing 2 games in 48 hours this should
be a big help to Illinois in a 40 minute ball game.

Illinois has won 14 in a row vs Minny, including
the last 5 at Williams arena, the last time they played
each other January 25 Illinois placed a beat down on them
77-53 covering a 14 point spread.

While Minny is playing for it's life, Illinois is also
playing for a outside shot for the Big Ten title and
more important a high seed for the NCAA dance.

Here is a interesting trend number for Minny
After playing WISKY Minn is 1-8

I suspect a hard fought battle by both clubs,
Illinois will come out to play tonight and show why
they are a top 10 team.

My numbers show Illinois by 6

Saturday another Senior night, I would expect
the Illini to be a road dog that game maybe getting
3 or so...

Will keep you all posted, as we look to hammer the book
going into the dance, after that is a coin toss.

Texas Tech -1 at Baylor...Played this last night but know see its a huge public play. Baylor off impressive blow-out of ISU but think Tech will handle them tonight on the road.

Nebraska pk (ML) -135 vs. K-State

ML Parlay:

BYU -315
Dune -285

Appx. -120 odds on the parlay.

These are my top 3 today. Looked at UNI +2 but couldn;t pull the trigger against a good missouri State team.

Ohio -18.5 vs Central Michigan

CMU is a bad team, I hate laying that many
points but the numbers say Ohio by 24...

Here is a game to look at from a trend bettors
point of view, ULAFAYETTE VS WKY the under
is 11-4 in LAFAYETTES last 15 games.....

Western Michigan -300 over EMU

Also put a couple $$$$$ in Iowa +787 to win the Big 10 tourney. They are sneaky enough to pull it off. Not bad odds for a team that was 2nd in a tough conference.

Taking a look at a couple other conf. tourney futures too.

Saw an early line that I jumped on in the Pac 10 tourney Wednesday.

Washington State +5 over Oregon. I think Oregon may win this one but with the tempo the way WSU plays (total set at 110), I think the 5 points is a bit much for an inconsistent Oregon team. I see this line dropping a few points by gametime. Played it at Pinnacle.
