Getting some of that back when I lost 4 of 5 days last week. My only loss last night was my phillies, that figures. Isn't that the way it always happens? A couple of day games today. I have to work second trick today, so I will post everything this morning.
I must admit that I am a little stumped this morning and nothing is jumping out at me like it usually does, so everything is just for one unit each today.
over 10 (+101) phillies/atlanta................Randy Wolf is not the same pitcher that he once was...at least not yet. In two starts so far since coming back, he has two no decisions but lasted less than five innings in both starts and threw a ton of pitches. After starting the season great for atlanta, james has been lit up as well. Both of these teams can hit the ball and with these guys throwing, ten runs should be easy.
atlanta -111 vs phillies.........I already mentioned above about randy wolf. As much as I would love my phillies to win this game, they are due to drop a few and these braves have always been a thorn in the phillies side. I just don't trust randy wolf after being off a year and having serious arm surgery. MY gut tells me the braves outscore the phils today, something like 9-5.
mets -1.5 vs san diego...........I think I heard somewhere that the mets own san diego at shea stadium. Throw in the fact that pedro is on the hill and I think you get an easy winner. Nothing is for sure and I don't want to lay the 213 on the moneyline, so the safe bet is the runline. Mets should roll today.
toronto -157 vs baltimore...........What am I missing here? Halladay is throwing at home vs baltimore and this line is only 157. I have got to take my chances on this one, win or lose. It is not like they are playing boston or the yankees here, we are talking about baltimore.
under 7.5 (-114) minnesota/detroit.............Just look at the pitching matchup, that is all you need to know. I have found also that when the total is this low (7-7.5), especially at -114, that is generally is going to be a pitchers duel.
That is all for today. Hope I did not force these plays today. Most of the time I don't play totals because I suck at totals. At least I was smart enough to cut everything back to one unit today.
