I have been away for quite some time. I know this thread should probably be in the other forum, but I know this one gets more views so I am asking here. Can someone explain what happened with Millenium and BOS? From what little I know, there was some type of law/rule/ordinance passed by the US to stop gambling online or something like that. Was wondering why it has affected these two books particularly? And what happens to the $$ in your accounts? Are we getting stiffed? Seems these books were giants of the industry and I didn't think I had anything to worry about. I tried a few different phone #s and have gotten none that are in service. Any info would be appreciated.

There's probably a vararity of reasons why BOS was targeted. But they were not targeted as a result of any new legislation. It's the same charges that were brought against several others, including Jay Cohen, back in 1998.

BOS chose to shut down instead of fight, partly due to being a public company and pressure from shareholders.

They were taking calls and setting up a payout list on a first come first serve basis at 1-888-771-9076 or 1-866-269-7315.

However last I heard there was no answer?
