Just wondering how many guys are betting it and how do you feel about it? I've been in the offshore seen since it first started and I've never seen anything like this. So I have to say I'm a little worried but I'm going to take my chances.

I just did it today. Got Pitt at a Pickem at mansion and got Miami +2.5 -125 at pinnacle. If Pitt wins I get $500, Miami wins I get $400 and if Pitt wins by 1 or 2 I net a $1400 profit.

I was worried, still am, but I checked out many forums that talked about it, plus I have talked to them 4 different times about it. Bworld has them on the cream of the crop. Mansion is a sponsor for a big soccer team in Europe. They also have the poker dome series on Fox sports. Therefore they have a lot of $$$

Through this I came to the conclusion that it is a huge promotion that they decided will net them a profit in the long run from getting new customers.

We'll see in a couple days if I am an idiot or not...

As far as the promotion goes, while it may seem crazy, it goes down as an advertising expense for the book. Mansion is hoping that win or lose, alot of the players that try the promotion, stay on as customers. If that happens, than it will have been worthwhile for them.

That's why you see alot of these 100% bonus deals this time of year. Deposit 100 and get 100. That's actually a smart promotion for the book. The average cost to aquire one customer for an offshore sportsbook is MORE than $100 per customer. So, by paying $100, or, actually less because not everyone will win, it's a good deal for the books and in turn, a great deal for the players....

How about that promotion though......all of us that went out and layed -5 on the Steelers, and than Rothlisberger has his appendix burst! What luck!!!

Its funny, it took so long for my Neteller deposit to go through that I missed the -5 line. By the time my money went through they took the line off for Preseason games and decided they wouldnt put it back up til Monday. Worked out well for me since I got it at pick em and middled it.

MANSION SUCKS- I didn't know they had a quota to fill and never got in on the wager before they pulled the game on tuesday and I have been trying to withdraw my money ever since then with no response. they have NO toll free number from the states and haven't responded to emails. they are so back logged it will probally take a week to get any money from them...what a mistake... I will definitely will learn from this.

I was trying to send money on Tuesday which I would of have sent earlier had they they responded to my previous emails. Then later that Tuesday Jeff posted that the prop was off the board. Did they ever say anywhere that there was going to be a five thousand people max? I'm not worried about it but it would of been nice to get a response to my emails.

Just an update, I do agree with you that it was unfair for them to pull the bet like that. It was said nowhere in the agreement that they had a quota to fill. So for that I am sorry

I did, however already recieve my $2100 in my neteller account today~!


Its already on its way to my bank account. I guess I just got lucky since i got them my ID this past weekend, before the overhaul of IDs came in.

So, for me, it was a great experiance with them. I got the money in my neteller account 3 hours after the bet settled. Not bad. Once again, thanks to Jeff and BWORLD for putting the deal to my attention.
