    CINCINNATI +30 vs. Ohio State
    UCF -2- vs. South Florida
    MISSISSIPPI STATE -11 vs. Tulane

The Bearcats have no shot at beating Ohio State. But getting this many all I'm asking of them is not to get brutalized, and I don't think they will. Cincy has a surprisingly quick defense, and I'm pleased that their rotating QB system has been shut down and that Grutza will now go the route. The key here is an almost unavoidable letdown for Ohio State off Texas along with their other revenge meeting vs. Penn State on deck. You just couldn't ask for a more favorable situation in which to grab an outclassed dog. The Buckeyes know that all they have to do to win here is show up, and that's likely all they will do, while the Bearcats will treat this very seriously. The fact that the underdog's defense is more than respectable tells me that I'm a likely winner if I can just coax 10 points out of the dog, and I feel as though I can get that here.

South Florida is a real mess right now. They're down to the #3 spring QB and the #3 spring tailback. They've been riddled by suspensions and have a walk on starting on the defensive line. The Bulls were flat out lucky to squeak past FIU Saturday. I can't see them winning this game. This is a big game on the UCF slate, as they're the ones that pushed to create this rivalry. The Knights have yet to defeat a Big East school and breaking that streak here would be very satisfying. Throw out the shellacking at Florida. They simply got overrun by a vastly superior team. But here they get someone in their own class. The revenge factor is frequently overrated, but not here. I had circled this game in the spring as a potentially good play after reading comments about how this was the target game for the UCF upperclassmen, and with the visitors in a really fouled up state, I'm definitely on the host here.

Mississippi State is off back to back shutout losses, and the fact is their offense is pretty impotent. But they're dropping way down in class here, and I think this is finally a chance for Sly Crooms to be the bully for once. Tulane is pretty hapless looking. They return only ten starters from last year's beleaguered entry and after winning just a pair last season, more of the same is in store for the Green Wave this season. The offense will have trouble getting much going against what is a very stout Bulldog defense. And here's where even Mississippi State gets to put together some decent drives. The key to this play for me is that after getting blanked in two straight games, I think the frustration factor comes into play here. If Missisippi State gets a chance to turn the tables and rub someone's else's nose in the dirt, I believe they will do just that. Tulane is the perfect patsy. I've always liked this type of scenario and believe it works again here.

Actually like his Miss State pick. Take some frustration out here in a blow out?

I played them before I read this but have the same overall opinion. Got them at -10.

I took Cincinnati at home vs Pittsburgh and learned my lesson. Granted the defense is pretty darn good, it was their offense that screwed them giving Pitt great field position and easy points. I don't trust the Cincy offense enough to even grab the 30 pts.
