7-8 sides
0-1 totals
After a 1-5 start I am now at 7-8 for NFL sides, including 2-0 last Monday Night. I'll try this a few more times and see what happens
This ought to at least have some entertainment value to some poor soul out there.
Pittsburgh -2.5 - Jacksonville had some help from Dallas last week. Two interceptions set up 2 Jacksonville TD's and Dallas also missed a short 36 yd FG to boot (no pun intended). Pittsburgh could have scored even more last week against Miami as Charlie Batch fumbled the ball at the 1 yd line following a nice 81 yd drive. Miami was only able to net 38 yds rushing against the Steeler D while Pittsburgh racked up 146. Jacksonville was only able to net 78 yds rushing vs Dallas. Jacksonville's Fred Taylor will have a hard time finding running room again so it will probably be up to Leftwich and the passing game which means more interception opportunities for the Steelers who had 2 INT's last week vs Miami. Pittsburgh should be able to rack up yards both passing and rushing and outscore Jacksonville enough to cover the 2.5 pt spread.
Pit/Jax OV 36.5 - In my opinion, Pittsburgh ought to be good for at least 24 so I'm counting on Jacksonville for at least a couple TD's and hopefully a FG or two which would cover the 36.5.... (he said confidently
