It may be a soggy Sunday Night Football matchup when the New England Patriots host the Denver Broncos.
The Storm Prediction Center is expecting severe weather for the Eastern Seaboard due to a low-pressure front moving in from the Midwest. Scattered showers will give way to thundershowers and possibly damaging winds leading into the 8:15 ET kickoff tonight in Foxboro, Mass.
Winds up to 35 mph blowing from the Southwest may drop the game time temperature as low as 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Breezy conditions could limit the passing game of both Jake Plummer and Tom Brady, forcing both teams to pound it out on the ground.
New England and Denver sit No. 3 and No. 4 in rushing this season. The Patriots are averaging 165 yards on the ground this season while the Broncos have tallied 153 yards per game.
Oddsmakers have already dropped the total for tonight’s game. The total opened at 39 ½ with most sportsbooks, but has dropped as low as 38 with news of tonight’s forecast. The Pats are currently 6 1/2-point favorites.
both Denver games have been low scoring and the only game at New England so far has been Under the total.
PS I already have NE-6 straight bet and NE ML in parlay and NE +.5 in a teaser...so I think I like NE tonight.
Looking for a big payday today.
PS for those into BB..I am taking the the Cards for 1/2 Unit @ +162
Weaver vs Clemens...I know you think I am crazy and maybe so, but Clemens isn't bullet proof especially against the Cards and Houston is trying to sweep a 4 game series...I don't think the Cards want Houston getting any closer.(currently 4 1/2 back)
Yeah i agree with you it looks like Denver finally decided to show up to a game. I had not realized that they have not given up a touchdown in 2 1/2 games. Pretty amazing . Glad I stayed away. Good luck to you.
