Terrell Owens - WR, Dallas Cowboys 9/28/2006
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrell Owens (hand) returned to practice on Thursday, September 28th, for the first time since suffering the broken hand, despite being one day removed from his emergency hospital visit on Wednesday, Sept. 27th. Bill Parcells has indicated that he may not decide on Owens week four playing status until the day before the game.

Chicago Bears head coach Lovie Smith refuted reports from a local media outlet that second year running back Cedric Benson was seen pouting as he left the field after week three's win in Minnesota, "There is some inaccurate information coming out about whether we're disappointed in him, the reasons why he didn't play this past week. Cedric Benson practiced very well last week, is doing everything we've asked him to do right now and he's a big part of what we're going to do around here. I couldn't be more pleased with how he's handling being behind a good player in [RB] Thomas Jones. Hopefully, this week we'll get him some more playing time," Smith said.
