8-teamers are a hard way to make steady money, but I guess the payoff would have been huge. I lost on Jacksonville too - wonder where their defense was today.
well l just tossed 6 bucks to win 1100 and change... l really didn't think it would win... but once the first 5 hit, l got interested... then St. Louis and Cleveland covered and l freaked... and then cussed when Santana broke that long TD ... oh well

While multi team parlays may be sucker bets, it's still always fun to try an 8 teamer, especially one with a few money line dogs in it and root for the big score...........they pop every now and then
Hey Garister, I was in the same boat with you on that Teaser play.......Had the Jags +4 but I opened my big mouth to a buddy when the overtime period was starting and said "With my luck Washington will probably score a touchdown instead of a field goal"......bigger than shit, it happened......I wish the Jags would have never tied it up in the first place.......Between that breakaway and the breakaway 86 yard touchdown by the Saints on a horrible coverage play by the Panthers late in the 4th quarter, I got ripped out of a real nice payday.......Oh well, there's always next week.
I'm with you on that........you know how many $10 yo's I've played at the craps tables in my lifetime? I think I may have hit ONE years ago......but hey, it's still fun
Speaking of "wild plays"......This cab driver in Vegas told me that once a month he'll walk into a casino and play a hundred dollars on $10 "hard-eight" parlays........If he hits the hard-eight three times in a row, he collects $10,000 for his $10 investment..........It's only $10 to begin with, but it would turn into a pretty "ballsy" bet after you hit the first two hard-eights, it would be awfully tempting to take your $1000 and run......But this charachter says he hit this thing 3 times last year.
While of course this is entirely possible, it just seems like a real longshot that you're gonna see 3 hard-eights, before you see an "easy" 8 or a 7........Gotta be REAL lucky here !!
