Yes, a disturbing number of democrats in the House did vote for the Internet bill in July. My answer: vote those bastards out too!!!

But nearly 100% of the republicans in the House AND Senate supported this, and it is the Republican leader who snuck this through this weekend and made it law. So who's accountable, and who's policy is it to put their morality on the legislative books any way they can? The Republicans.

Money talks, and bullshit walks.... thank your lobbyists for passing unpopular legislation. Thank lnterest groups for putting religious and cultural pressures on our government. But thats how it works. lf lnternet Gambling sites came together to for a lobbying group, l think they could be pretty damn formidable opponent, but would they people able to pad the same pockets that the mob, and vegas pad day in and day out... doubtful.

Vegas is just protecting its interest... l mean why would l go there, when l can lay on my couch, drink beer and play craps or hold'em in my boxers. Yea ambience, and the experience, but they look to lose a slew a money on this issue.

We stopped being the primary interest of the government a long time ago. And when we are in their best interest, its their opinion, that we need to be protected from such vices as... gambling... drugs... sex for money... and a whole slew of other moral decisions that should be left to me and not some 80 year old fucktwat who ran democrat in a predominantly black area, so he could pad his resume on his way to running for a bigger and better office...

lm just saying, there will always be way around laws... and even though its been signed into law, doesn't mean the supreme court or any court will uphold the law as constitutional. Those backdoor laws are found and loopholed or overturned everyday.
