Ahman Green - RB, Green Bay Packers 10/7/2006
Ahman Green is now expected to play against the visiting Rams on Sunday after returning to practice on Friday. Green has been hampered by hamstring strains in both legs this season and HC Mike McCarthy wondered publicly if he had overworked Green this year as he was returning from a torn-quadriceps injury that ended his 2005 season. McCarthy said he wanted to average around 20 touches per game for Green now, rather than the 25 he has been getting when healthy enough to play. "It's communication on how he feels, and so forth," McCarthy said. "My experience, when individuals come back from major injuries, you kind of go through a period of some nagging injuries. His is a tight hamstring that takes a while to warm up and fatigues over the long run."

Brandon Stokley - WR, Indianapolis Colts 10/7/2006
The Colt's slot receiver Brandon Stokley returned to practice on Thursday and Friday and now expects to play against the Titans on Sunday. "Really good today – back-to-back (days), and it wasn’t sore," said Stokley.

Daunte Culpepper - QB, Miami Dolphins 10/7/2006
The Dolphins have listed Daunte Culpepper as probable to play this week and he has practiced despite having a bruised right shoulder but he still has not been named as the starter this week. If Culpepper is held out, Joey Harrington would get the start. "He wants to play in the game and we have to make a decision whether he's physically capable of doing that," HC Nick Saban said. "He practiced OK today. We want to put him in a situation where he can be successful. If we feel like he can do that, he'll be ready to go in the game. If that's not the case, then that's why Joey was brought here."
