Rookie RB Maurice Jones-Drew ran the ball well Sunday in a backup role to RB Fred Taylor as the Jags beat the Jets 41-0. The 5'7" rookie running back from UCLA looked very good as he carried the ball 13 times for 59 yards and 2 touchdowns.

The New York Jets had their most dismal game of the year Sunday in a 41-0 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jets were totally dominated in all phases of the game however, they did have one bright spot as RB Leon Washington rushed 23 times for 101 yards and caught 1 pass for 8 yards in the game.

Travis Henry - RB, Tennessee Titans 10/9/2006
The Tennessee Titans have been looking for a running game for the biggest part of the 2006 season. On Sunday, they may have found it as RB Travis Henry rushed 19 times for 123 yards and caught 2 passes for 10 yards as the Titans lost a close contest 14-13 with the Colts. "We knew by watching film that we had a lot of creases we could run through," Henry said. "We did that. We still left a lot of plays out on the field."

WR Bernard Berrian was impressive Sunday as he caught 4 passes for 97 yards and 1 touchdown as the Bears completely destroyed the Bills 40-7. The touchdown was an 8-yard pass from QB Rex Grossman early in the game.

Reggie Bush - RB, New Orleans Saints 10/9/2006
RB Reggie Bush came up big Sunday as he scored his first NFL touchdown on a punt return late in the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Bush's score was the deciding points as the Saints edged the Buccaneers 24-21. On the day, Reggie Bush rushed the ball 9 times for 23 yards and caught 11 passes for 63 yards. "Once I turned that corner I was just trying to turn on the jets," Bush said. "It was so wide open the slowest guy in the world probably could have scored that touchdown. The monkey's off my back now."

WR Roy Williams of the Detroit Lions was injured Sunday on the first possession of the game for the Lions. Williams who caught 1 pass for 7 yards sustained a back stinger and did not return to the contest. Minnesota won the game 26-17.

Philadelphia WR Hank Baskett led all receivers on Sunday when he caught 3 passes for 112 yards in the Eagles 38-24 win over the Dallas Cowboys. Baskett, acquired in a trade with Minnesota during his rookie season, caught an impressive 87-yard TD pass from quarterback Donovan McNabb. Baskett was starting for Donte Stallworth who has been hampered by a hamstring injury.

San Francisco RB Frank Gore looked impressive again on Sunday in the team's 34-20 win over the hapless Raiders. Gore, who carried the ball 27 times for 134 yards, did not get in the endzone but he did do just about everything else. The 3rd year running back out of the University of Miami also had 3 catches for 38 yards to add to his totals.

Arizona Cardinals starting WR Larry Fitzgerald was injured Sunday when he caught a 5-yard TD pass in the first half of the 23-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Fitzgerald, a 6'3" 221 pound receiver from the University of Pittsburgh will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the injury. "I've never had a hamstring injury or really an injury, period," Fitzgerald said.
