Wins Thursday night with Clemson and Colorado St and a ML loss on V.T.
CFB record now at:
sides 40-30-3
totals 5-5
ML 0-1
Pittsburgh -10.5 @ Central Florida - Pittsburgh standing at 5-1 with all 5 of their wins by double digits, with margins of victory of 25, 18, 45, 42 and 10. They have only given up an average of slightly less than 10 pts per game in those same 5 games. At 2-3, UCF has wins against Div AA Villanova and a 1 pt road win vs Marshall to their credit so far. They do have 2 close losses, by a TD or less, to So. Miss. and S. Florida but got blown out 42-0 by the Florida Gators. This will be their toughest game since the Florida blowout and I don't think they'll be able to stay close in this one. Pitt QB Tyler Palko is on fire with a lofty passer rating of 186 and is completing 70% of his passes with 15 TD's already and only 3 INT's. They can also run the ball when they need to as they have tacked on another 8 TD's rushing. They have a solid PK in Conor Lee who is perfect so far this year with 4/4 FG's and 27/27 PAT's. They are also +6 in TO's. On the other hand, UCF QB Moffett is completing only 54% of his passes with 6 TD's and 3 INT's. They have added only 4 more via the ground so they've only scored 10 TD's on the year compared with Pitt's 24. Their PK has had marginal success hitting only 4 of 8 FG tries, with the longest only coming from 22 yds. It looks like it could be a long night for the Golden Knights.
