Can someone please start ONE thread next week for all of the newbies, one-hit wonders, new-to-the-forum clowns that are cluttering up the forum with their losing first-time picks?.......Please.

There were no less than 14 new threads started today with meaningless posts from web surfers acting like this is some "pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey" forum, or some kind of pick 'em contest, and it's not............Now I'm all for recruiting new blood to the forum, but if your flipping coins in your garage or playing spin the bottle to come up with your picks with no explanation or insight, keep 'em to yourself and to your bookie.......there's a proper site for everthing, but to clutter up the forum with endless and useless threads, which most players here could give a shit about, is absurd.

Let someone please start ONE thread next week that asks for everybody's BEST, but separate threads for each and every guy that wants his favorite college team to win today, is really just a waste of time and space.

Guys like Dragon, Jeff, FB Picks, Spang and those guys that know the system, are actually doing us a huge favor with their experience and insight, but the rest of the shit....is just that........Sorry if I hurt anybody's feelings.....but get a clue.

Well, it might be a little neater to have them all in the same thread, but the key is that folks should give some reasons or analysis for their picks. That makes it useful. Perhaps someone has some insight or some particular angle on a game. Or, their analysis gives us an idea whether the guy knows what he's talking about or not.

If they are lousy, you won't see them again next week.

Aside to Rick the "D-Backer"...........I didn't intend that for you guy, you're a long time poster and your humor comes in handy.........you know me better than that........but it looks like you're pulling my chain a bit too..........Right on man, good luck.

P.S. Dude, I'm not trying to be hard on the new poster's, but you really can't understand what half of them are saying......By the time I'm done reading their post, I'm not sure which way they're going.......But then again, I'm not so sure they know either.

I would love if everybody(newbies or oldies) would post their plays, but it is REALLY helpful if they state why they like that play, just a quick statement doesn't have to be a book or a novel.

If you like their color thats a reason just put it down on the forum.anything!

I always post some explanation except for the contests.

I always like the new blood around here if they bring something to the table and not just open a thread post and then spout off about the plays.

I think what everyone is trying to say is keep the new threads to a minimum so we can sort through the good stuff and get some info. I know the newer guys may have some good insight but just limit the hype and post your plays and try to document your record as close as possible.

And for the record, I do suck lately thats why I have kind of been laying low and not posting too much until i can figure my ass from ym head.

And I seriously went on a crazy almost 'spring break' binge during the playoffs/world series. I love to hang out at sportsbars, drink cold beer, and watch games and I did that the past few weeks and probably over did it! But it was a fun run! Glad its over and the Cards are champs but thats hard on a 30 year old guy like myself!

It is actually pretty simple, hit new thread and put your picks down. If you want help I would ask for it in your thread. It also might be more helpful for both parties if you put a brief decription of why you picked the team outside beside each pick. Good luck.

TC.....In all fairness, your posts were actually blocked for a few days, you can tell by some of the other posts.......Hey look man, I don't condemn anybody unless they call me out...........now I understand you trying to get involved here and point out your beliefs ( and actually agree with you on a lot of the ways you think), but no one has the cure all for any of this (picking football winners on a regular basis)..........We all get hot for a bit and then shit goes bad........Problem is, people are in a rush to point out somebody's losers, and never seem to give credit at all when somebody hits the shit right on..........If someone was right ALL the time, they certainly wouldn't waste their time giveing out winner on THIS forum........This is the place where we just share the shit........It's cheap entertainment and that's it.......Join in on the fun guy.......If you got something special to add, then bring it...........Good Luck to you either way.
