Speculation is growing that Jets starting QB Chad Pennington's surgically repaired throwing shoulder might be tiring as the season progresses. Pennington, who owns the second-highest completion percentage in NFL history, hit only 11 of 28 passes for 108 yards, two interceptions and two touchdowns in the Jets 20-13 loss to the Browns on Sunday. He's also thrown six interceptions in the past four games, which equals the worst four-game stretch of his career.

Joseph Addai - RB, Indianapolis Colts 11/1/2006
Colts rookie RB Joseph Addai may have established himself as the team's feature running back after splitting carries with fifth-year RB Dominic Rhodes for much of the season. In the Colts 34-31 win over the Broncos on Sunday, Addai carried the ball 17 times for a career-high 93 yards and added five catches for 37 yards. Meanwhile, Rhodes carried three times for zero yards and caught three passes for 43 yards.

Priest Holmes - RB, Kansas City Chiefs 11/1/2006
Chiefs RB Priest Holmes would still like to play this season, according to team president-general manager Carl Peterson. Holmes, who hasn't played or practiced since he suffered a neck injury in Week 7 of last season, is scheduled to see a neurosurgeon near the end of this week. The Chiefs have until Week 12 to decide whether to place Holmes, who is currently on the physically unable to perform list, on the active roster or on injured reserve. An announcement is expected to be made by the end of the week.
