OK newbies and please know you are welcome and not bashing you but this is something similar to what a good quality info play should be...something where you have a bit of insight because you are a fan or follow the team a lot. I Don't play on or against 'my team' much but proabably hit about 65% in the playoffs when 'my team' was playing, either on or against. So one but not limited to points to the forum is to get some local info or at least some insight into your team. If you are from Wyoming and like foots and even not a fan, you should know more than the guys in New Jersey. (not bashing either state but needed an example). I am in Iowa and went to ISU so may be baised but do know what going on with the team quite a bit. No scouts or people in their practices but do read about them a lot and have seen them in person a few times.
Onto the game...
Iowa State +3 vs. KU...at 2.5 but at Pinnacle can buy it to 3 which I did. Cyclones have injuries to Hicks and Davis which I thnk moves this game to where it is and not a pick or ISU favor. But what do Hicks and Davis really mean to this team-Nothing!!! I think they are better with Hicks out and Jason Scales in. He is a hard nosed back not the pretty boy Hicks is-he thinks hes much better than he is. Davis is nothing and think it will help get Todd Blythe the ball. Blythe is an NFL calliber reciever which a smart team would actually use. On a BCS team, Blythe may be a Heisman guy, honestly. So wiht Davis out, Meyer may actually throw some to him. To Meyer, he is a scrambler and can throw. I think he should call his own plays and ISU may have 2 more wins.
Don;t know much about KU except they are 0-3 on the road, have 2 freshman QBs.
Home Field- Huge factor as long as people come. When its packed, it rocks. Any everyone at ISU hated KU too.
May add more but tired of typing.
