Even though it was signed into law, is it possible that it can be brought back up. Im curious how big of an effect the passing of the gaming bill had on the elections. Or do you think it didnt have an effect at all.

Just a thought but the youth vote was fairly high this year and in favor of the Dems. Has to be a sign that the gaming bill had a larger effect then what the Repubs thought. Just curious of eeryones thoughts.

I was reading where there was a big effort put forth in Arizona by some gambling businesses, mostly poker sites, to oust Kyl.
They suppossedly contacted all their Arizona customers, a significant number when adding up several companies lists combined, and asked them to vote against Kyl.
It may have had an impact, making the vote closer than originally thought, but it wasn't enough.
Overall, I would say the gambling bill had no impact.
The win for the democrats was basically a statement by America, the youth particularly, that they have had enough of this "war" and Iraq.Comment
