Jerious Norwood - RB, Atlanta Falcons 11/9/2006

Jerious Norwood sprained his knee in the game against the Lions last Sunday and is very questionable to play this week. The Falcons have activated Marlion Jackson from the practice squad to take his place. The absence of Norwood should result in more carries for Warrick Dunn.

Santana Moss - WR, Washington Redskins 11/9/2006

Washington Redskins wideout Santana Moss has returned to practice but is still not "in full capacity". He is expected to play against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday despite still nursing a hamstring injury. "I'm going out there and running around a little bit, but it's not like I'm going to go out and run like crazy," Moss said. "I want to progress throughout the week. I don't want the first day to set me back, especially with that weather. I'm not going to be stupid at all."

The Bills will miss Willis McGahee "indefinitely" after further tests revealed that he has three broken ribs. He has been ruled out this week and will likely miss significant time. "It is more extensive than we thought, not just with that injury, the ninth rib," HC Dick Jauron said. "It's not minor." Wearing a flak jacket is not an option with three broken ribs.

After 11 seasons as a Titan, McNair will have his first trip to the visitor's locker room. "I don't know what to expect when I get there, but I know what my intentions will be," McNair said. "I'll do the best I can do to lead this team to a victory. All the other things will take care of themselves."

Fred Smoot - CB, Minnesota Vikings 11/9/2006

Minnesota Vikings defensive back Fred Smoot is spending the week in Mississippi after the death of his half-brother in a car accident on Sunday, November 5th. There is a chance now that Smoot won't play on Sunday and if that's the case his replacement would be CB Cedric Griffin.

Chester Taylor - RB, Minnesota Vikings 11/9/2006

Minnesota Vikings running back Chester Taylor (calf) was limited in practice on Wednesday, November 8th, but will play in week ten. Vikings coaches have expressed a desire to lighten Taylor's practice load to help preserve him for large workloads on Sunday.

Bernard Berrian - WR, Chicago Bears 11/9/2006

Chicago Bears wide receiver Bernard Berrian (ribs) missed practice Wednesday, November 8th, and is likely to not play in week ten. Currently listed as doubtful, he could miss anywhere from two weeks to a month while rceovering
