Miami Dolphins running back Ronnie Brown (groin) appears ready to start on Thanksgiving Day against the Detroit Lions, after only receiving 12 carries in week eleven against the Vikings. Head coach Nick Saban said Brown was "no worse for the wear from playing" Week 11.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre (arm) has gotten back most of the strength in his arm and hand after incurring a blow to the ulner nerve in his elbow during week eleven's game against the Patriots. The Packers seem likely to hold Favre out of practice until Friday, November 24th, but he is expected to be available for week twelve's Monday night game against the Seahawks.
