Hines Ward - WR, Pittsburgh Steelers 11/24/2006

Hines Ward missed practice for the second day in an attempt to rest his hyperextended knee. Ward injured the knee last week when making a catch during the comeback victory against the Browns. "I'm going to do everything possible to be on the field," Ward said. "I'm walking better. That's encouraging. That's telling me I'm getting better each day."

Ernest Wilford - WR, Jacksonville Jaguars 11/24/2006

The Jaguars wideout Ernest Wilford is questionable to play this week with a sore ankle but has returned to practice after being held out on Wednesday. He is expected to play against the Bills on Sunday.

Andre Johnson - WR, Houston Texans 11/24/2006

Andre Johnson is hampered by a deep thigh bruise and has missed practices on Wednesday and Thursday. "It's a concern," HC Gary Kubiak said. "I'm not going to hide that from anybody. We'll see how he does. I think the thigh bruise is a little bit more than we thought it was, and, hopefully, he'll feel better."

Reuben Droughns - RB, Cleveland Browns 11/24/2006

Reuben Droughns sprained his foot and missed playing in last week's loss to the Steelers but has improved and could play this week. HC Romeo Crennel said that even if Droughns could return to the field on Sunday that he will be sharing the load with Jason Wright now. "If we can get everybody into the game, it would be intriguing to have that mix," Crennel said. Wright was impressive gaining 74 yards on 18 carries for a 4.1 yard average. He ran better than Droughns has this entire season.
