The Illini are hurt, Brain Randle is out (huge blow)
and Jamar Smith Illinois Sophmore shooting phenom
is just returning (to early in my opinion) from a
High Ankle Sprain...
The Bench is non exsistent at this point
Turnovers are really hurting this young team early on...
The Illinis DEFENSE is it's staple and they will play
get in your face D.....
MARYLAND
MD beat MSU this year the Maryland Fast
Break was just to much for MSU who had an
astonishing 46-21 rebounding edge of MD to lose
MD plays a very fast up tempo game, 2 starting
guards are freshmen, and they must not get intimated
by the Fans of Illinois, SOLID FRONT Court of Seniors
who can play some ball
Because of MD's up tempo style of play
aggressive and running all day the BACKDOOR
will be open to Illinois all night, MD cannot, repeat
cannot Box Out..
MY PICK
If Illinois was healthy, it would be a no brainer
to take the home team, I dont see Illinois putting a
beat down on MARYLAND and I suspect it to be
a very close game, If Illinois does win it will be within
3 points.
I am taking MD and all the points the book will give
me....Currently 4.0
