Jon Kitna - QB, Detroit Lions 11/29/2006

Detroit head coach Rod Marinelli said on Monday that he has no lineup changes planned, including at the quarterback position. "Right now, my goal is to win each and every game," he said. "I'm going to give ourselves the best opportunity to win and that's with Kitna." Kitna was sacked eight times and pressured seven times in the Lions' 27-10 loss to Miami on Thanksgiving Day as the running game went nowhere and the OL crumbled repeatedly.

Head coach Mike McCarthy said that a big reason for the downturn has been the absence of RT Mark Tauscher (groin), who has missed the past two games, and not a sign that Green is slowing down.

Philadelphia QB Donovan McNabb underwent successful surgery on Tuesday to repair his torn right anterior cruciate ligament, and if all goes well he could be ready for the Eagles' season-opener in 2007.

Priest Holmes - RB, Kansas City Chiefs 11/29/2006

Kansas City RB Priest Holmes (head, neck) is expected to remain on the Chiefs' physically unable to perform (PUP) list for the rest of the season. Tuesday was the deadline for the team to activate him.

Matt Hasselbeck - QB, Seattle Seahawks 11/29/2006

An MRI taken on Tuesday showed that Seattle QB Matt Hasselbeck has a broken finger on his non-throwing hand. Hasselbeck, who was playing in his first game since spraining his right knee on Oct. 22, most likely suffered the injury when he was hit by Green Bay DE Aaron Kampman in the second quarter of the Seahawks' 34-24 win over the Packers on Monday night.
