Kevan Barlow - RB, New York Jets 12/1/2006

Jet RB Kevan Barlow may be watching in civvies this week from the sideline, as all indications are he'll be deactivated for the game against Green Bay.

Sebastian Janikowski - PK, Oakland Raiders 12/1/2006

Raider K Sebastian Janikowski has been bothered by a bad back the last several weeks, and the condition may keep him from playing this weekend against the Texans.

Chris Chambers - WR, Miami Dolphins 12/1/2006

Miami WR Chris Chambers is growing more and more frustrated with his role in the Dolphin offense. He's gone 14 consecutive games without gaining 100 yards. "I still think we've got a ways to go as fas as taking a couple more shots down the field," Chambers said. "Right now we're more of a receiver by committee. We've got a chance for three or four guys to be over 50 catches. Everybody is just playing their role. I would like to get going and get my rhythm together as well."

Chris Brown - RB, Tennessee Titans 12/1/2006

With LenDale White sidelined with a hip flexor, Tennessee RB Chris Brown saw extensive practice work on Thursday. Brown hasn't played since the Oct. 15 game against Washington.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Doug Gabriel - WR, New England Patriots 12/1/2006

Patriots WR Doug Gabriel hasn't seen a lot of time on the field since fumbling three weeks ago since the Jets. He did not catch a pass against Green Bay or Chicago. Rookie Chad Jackson has also disappeared, with only 10 receptions for 131 yards and three TDs on the season.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike Williams - WR, Detroit Lions 12/1/2006

Lions WR Mike Williams saw his first extensive playing time on Thanksgiving Day against Miami. He's been good enough in recent practices to where he should see a lot of action the rest of the season.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Reuben Droughns - RB, Cleveland Browns 12/1/2006

Browns running back Reuben Droughns says he's still the No.1 guy at the position, even though he's been demoted to backup due to a foot injury. He is also battling a shoulder problem.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Pat Williams - DT, Minnesota Vikings 12/1/2006

Viking nose tackle Pat Williams is listed as doubtful for this week's game against Chicago with a knee problem. If he sits out this week, it will be the first game he's missed in five seasons.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ron Dayne - RB, Houston Texans 12/1/2006

Houston running back Ron Dayne, who has been inactive the past three weeks, took a lot of snaps with the first team in practice on Thursday. He's a good bet to see a lot of action this week against Oakland.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------

    B.J. Sams - RB, Baltimore Ravens 12/1/2006

The Baltimore Ravens' special teams took a major hit on Thursday when returner B.J. Sams broke his right fibula during Baltimore's 13-7 loss to the Bengals.
