Wanted to start a thread early. I will probably play all four games. I would like to know your thoughts of every game.
So far i think that i am going to go big on
NE +8 I think the jets are definitely on the right track but i dont they will hang I expect a blow out here.
I also am really wanting to lean towards the cowboys this week for some reason. Havent really gathered enough to come to a conclusion on this one.
If I dont play the cowboys, which i doubt i will I really like the over for this game. Neither team has a defense worth a crap here.
    Also like IND -7
    IND under 51

    Give me your thoughts.

Hey J-Pal, I'm sure you aren't really asking for my opinion...........Because you hate to see what I'm thinking most of the time...................And I know it's still pretty early in the week..........But I'm actually looking at the possibility of all four road dogs covering this week.

I don't give a shit what anyone thinks or says, but when it comes to wild-card playoff games, there is no such thing as the "home-field advantage"..............None of these teams even belong in the playoff race, and if they did, they would have a first-round bye...............I know I'll hear a shitload of criticism on this post, but I'll also assure you that NOT ONE OF THE TEAMS PLAYING THIS WEEKEND -- WILL BE STILL BE AROUND AFTER NEXT WEEKENDS GAMES !!!

I seriously think that the only home team that comes close to covering this weekend would be Philly...........And that's only because the Giants suck so bad (Sorry "Hart Attack" and "Toop") but why sugarcoat it?.........It's the playoffs.........Are you ready for some football !!??!!

I have a special place in my heart for your opinion Boone. I cant argue with the dogs owning the show this week or no team from this week making the playoffs. I do like NE this week. I really like the under in the KC/INDY game. I think that my thinking with the boys this week is that I believe Seattle is much worse then Dallas. Truthfully all of these teams are pretty bad, but who knows they could put a run together and take it all. Doubt it but who knows.

I just want to point out a few statistics that are readily available to everyone of course.
All 4 of Indy's losses were on the road....they have not lost at home. The Chiefs were not all that great on the road. They won at Oakland and St. Louis and a game at Arizona they should have lost. That's it. I see Indy winning this game by at least a TD. I think they step it up at playoff time.
The Jets and Pats split with both games being within a TD. They are certainly familiar with each other. Both teams finished strong and I feel this one could go either way. I definitely think 9 is too much.
The Cowboys last loss cost me a nice 4 team 7 pt teaser. I cannot believe they couldn't handle Detroit at home by 7. How on earth they can be expected to go on the road to one of the toughest venues and win is beyond me. Seattle's last win might have shown us something. They didn't have to win, and weren't expected too, but did handily. They should have beat San Diego the week before. This game is too much for Romo and Dallas just isn't playing well enough right now.
The Eagles should have won both matchups with the Giants. They jumped out to a huge lead in the first one and then stopped playing. They won the second matchup handily. The Eagles finshed win 5 straight wins and have the momentum over the pathetic 2-6 finish by the Giants. Eli Manning has been really bad lately and I think the Eagles are up to the task in this one.

        Indianapolis -7
        Jets +9
        Seattle -2.5
        Philly -6.5

That's true of course, since it has happened on a couple of occasions where a Super Bowl winner came from the wild-card games (twice, I think)........but I just can't see any of these teams accomplishing that.............Like you say though, they still gotta play the games..........After witnessing that Boise State game last night, who knows?

Good Luck to you man................But you gotta promise me one thing...........If your 'Boys make it past Seattle this weekend, and into the windy city next week to face Da Bears, please don't ask me for my opinion on that game.............I've got a little too much heart to tell you what I really think.............Good Luck man.

Nice points indeed Dragon............Where ya been man?............I agree with that insight, but I'm just saying that the road dogs can still cover in these spots without necessarily having to win..............We've all been in this game long enough to know that it's not who wins the game--but who covers the spread..............I can see Indy either losing, or winning the game 31-27 or 24-20.......something like that..................I also see the Dallas game going up to 3.5 or 4 and watching Seattle win by a field goal or such.

One thing you gotta remember............These bookies ain't too far off at this time of year...........that's one of the reasons I hate posting my thoughts so early (it's only Tuesday)...........I like to see the way the public greets these lines and how they move accordingly.............So these are my thoughts at the moment -- and not necessarily my plays.

Good to see you're back........Keep the info coming.

Hi Boone....thanks for the welcome back. I just completed a move from San Diego to the Oregon coast. I drove a U-Haul up and had to turn right around and fly back and drive another one up so I've been busy for a few weeks including packing and all....and a lot of driving
