From the original rules thread:
The prize will be in the form of a straight wager on the Super Bowl. Side only.
1st place - $500
2nd place - $300
3rd place - $200
No rollovers or sportsbook sign ups. The only stipulation is that in order to claim your prize, you need to have 50 total posts or more.
I assume that means kjalb and cajen are going to have to make a few posts this week to stretch it out and become eligible, as they each have 45 posts now, unless that meant you needed 50 posts before it started?
Also, I am not sure what a tiebreaker would be, but it looks like one may be needed to decide the 3 places.
Just trying to clear up some potential issues for down the road before any problems arise.
Hi Jason;
Where does this put me? I have made "replies to posts and started only a few. Not sure what is meant by the posting rules. Can you clarify.
Thanks
Missed you with the posts count, but I would assume that means you need to have 50 posts by the time it's over next weekend.
For anyone, I really have no affiliation to this other than I have kept the score. I was only pointing out some things to make it easier on the BW gang for down the road. I have spoke to no one about anything, and know nothing else than what was posted here by BW. I have just been following what has been posted here. Anything would have to come from someone at BW.
Hey, no worries Jason. I have even posted thanks to you a few times during this contest. Not sure where I stand with the "posts". I am not a frequent poster, however when I feel I have insight, I will post my opinion. I feel that is better than putting up $1,000,000 Locks of the year without any explanations.
Thanks again Jason, any BW input would be greatly appreciated.
You qualify....we'd look at the post quantity on a case by case basis. You're right, we would rather have someone post some well thought out insight on some games rather than someone posting just for the sake of posting.
Everyone has something to offer at one time or another that may be helpful to his/her fellow bettors.......we're just trying to encourage some participation and trying to disuade those that just post for contests.
