dragon1952- in answer to your two questions about ties/pushes-

1."What if 2 people tie with 14 wins but one of them is actually 14-1-1 and the other one is 14-2?"

One option (since there is no mention of what to do in case of ties) would be to split the prize $$ between the ones that selected the most winners.

    2. "Why should a loss count the same as a push?"

Because it says in the rules that the contest winner will be the one that selects the most winners.
The way these rules are written, 14-1-1 should be the same as 14-2. There are no allowances made in the rules for pushes. If I were the one overseeing the contest, 14-1-1 would split equally with 14-2 under these rules.

xbigpapa- You are way out of line.

You know what heart attack, you been Lucky with your pics so far, in a FEW weeks you will be eating ma dust, so your current 4-2 record compared to my 4-1-1 record will NOT matter.

Whether or not it is specifically in the rules or not, it is just common sense. If you think 10-6 should be treated the same as 10-0-6, that's just weird. The books give credit for pushes. If you played a 16 team parlay and went 10-6 you'd lose. 10-0-6 would still win. If it wasn't in the rules it was an obvious omission. Ties have counted in the past haven't they?

The rules for this contest were posted on August 18, 2007 and the thread has remained right near the top of the forum ever since. Even mikey irvin on a crack binge would have seen them.
