  • Patriots Question?

After watching the pats steam roll the whole league through week 8.... I have a few concerns.... First its worth stating that I believe the only thing that stops the Pats from winning the whole thing is the Pats and one key injury to the golden boy (Tom).... Well for some reason it seems evident to me, if they continue to show up the league, that one team or individual will lose control and take its frustrations out on the Tom.... I guess my question is more of a prediction. Is anyone else out there getting the feeling that players might be thinking of taking a few dirty shots at the golden boy if this continues....
Well whether I like the pats or not I have to add that they are $$money$$..... .....Dont get off this train till it comes to a complete stop.......

was thinking about that yesterday JP....what happens if they do this again to somebody like miami??? who is to stop a marginal player on a 3-13 team from getting pissed off when the score is 45-0 and Brady still throwing it up??? its just bad form

anyways - was saying to a friend yesterday....look, i am biased - but i think the boys are going to the show this year...i am not saying its a cakewalk - but i think they are the class of the NFC and these next 3 games will either prove or disprove this fact

say its the cowboys/pats in superbowl 42......wouldn't it be eerily similar to the superbowl from feb 2002 rams/patriots.....except in this case the pats would be 2001 rams and the cowboys would be the 2001 pats.....pats would be favored by 17 and nobody giving the cowboys a chance....romo would be like the young brady....wade figures out a gameplan to keep the game close and romo brings them down the field for folk to kick the FG as time runs out...

    AM I DELUSIONAL????

Dont get ahead of yourself.... one game at a time... Im almost willing to say if the pats continue this someone will roll on Brady.....

@ Colts Dont see anything dirty happening here but Bob Sanders has put a few players on the sideline

      vs Bye

@ Bills Dont see anything here
      vs Eagles

@ Ravens There is definitely bad blood here with reports of Adalius Thomas and ray lewis jawing the last couple of weeks

vs Steelers They "accidentally" took Palmer out of playoff game

vs Jets Spy games... Really really bad blood here with nothing to play for

vs Dolphins Nothing to play for

@ Giants dont expect to see first team playing this game

      Just speculation....

Injurie to Tom Terrific -- I hear you - and I'm sure Coach Bill knows what that would do to them, even if he does have him out there after all the horses have been let out.

I will tell you something that not alot of people outside of NE know - Tom is probably in better athletic condition than anyone on the Pats. He has himself on a rugged conditioning program. I have noticed this year that it does not take much to bring down Tom or Randy Moss and I feel this is the instructions given to them by Coach Bill. It seems that they both go down on the first connection with a defensive player. I don't think you will see either of them get stood up by one player so that another can take a running shot at him where a high percentage of injuries occur. This is fine with me - whatever it takes to get to the end result is fine.

After we've dissected, filleted, over-analyzed and thought way too much about this game, it all comes down to this very simple fact of football life: Tom Brady will finish two more big drives than Peyton Manning in the second half. Which, of course, means the New England D won't let the Colts run it and throw it down their throats the way they did in the second half of the AFC title game last January.

            Patriots 40, Colts 31

This is one opinion from a link off cnn.com that analyses each game in a brief summary.
