Hold on to your Hat as the numbers
reveal themselves....

Illinois is not over looking Minny for the
Ohio State Game, Iowa was perhaps a look
ahead but a game circled early on the calendar
as a possible stumble for Illinois...

Minny and Iowa are vastly different teams especially
on RUN DEFENSE, Iowa has a Run D ranked
32 in the country Minny dont ranked 108.

Ball State Season to date was the worst rush
defense that Illinois faced year to date # 116

I know Illinois has had alot of problems
winning under the dim dome in Minny over the
years.....In fact the Illini have not won at Minny
since 1994......This is a different Illinois team
my friends......trust me......

The Carpet thinks this is a game that
Illinois wins....

A Look at Minnesota Run Defense

Michigan- RB Hart sat out and Michigan
ran for 310 yards...allowed

Indiana- 228 yards rushing

Ohio State-250 yards rushing allowed.

Happy Pass Purdue-111 yards on 21 carries

Running the Nations best # 6 running back
Mendenhall of Illinois ( this kids going Pro
next year) on fast turf will
spell the difference....

This year Illinois wins at Minny

for the Illini

Mendenhall the Stud ran for 201 yards on
17 touches......and 2 TD 's .....thats impressive

Illinois rolled 344 rushing yards

UP NEXT FOR ILLINOIS

Ohio State................

If there ever is a look ahead game for OSU
this is it, look at the stats, OSU is vunerbale
the game before playing Michigan, they seem
to stumble.....

The Buckeyes got a bag of trouble coming
to play ..............

Nice call. Made it a no play for me after reading your write-up after liking Minny early. Nice win!!

I was on Northwestern vs. Iowa and Iowa pulled it out of their ass late to win. Still think they are a shitty team but Ferenz must do something at half to get them going.


That will be a good spot for Illiois next week. hard to over-look Illinois and hope to be getting some nice points. Would have been nice for Illinois to lose this week for poiunt value purposes but OSU winning by a bunch vs. Wiscy shouls get us what we need for a solid play.
