Write on game tonight - I forgot to add in last post

---The Hawks have been a disaster on the road, dropping 15 straight games and 11 of the last 15 in Boston. Go with the hot Celtics. Boston is 6-3 ATS in its last 9 games at home, while Atlanta is just 2-8-1 ATS in its last 11 on the road.

good luck to you - especially Ray Allen.

Atlanta has been playing over their heads so far with home wins vs two of the top NBA teams, Dallas and Phoenix, and two road losses by a combined 6 pts vs two other very good teams, Detroit and New Jersey.
Boston has blown out Denver and Washington for their two home wins so far. I can't see Atlanta hanging for a fifth straight game against a very good Celtics team as long as Boston takes them seriously. Boston does have a big divisional game on deck tomorrow night at New Jersey.

Dragon read the Hawks right - great offense but lacking on def end and when tired they had no def at all.
Celtics lost another large body last night - Posey down Wed and Scalabrine last night caught a loose arm swing where he was knocked in silly land by the wrist bone on the bridge of his nose. Will not play tonight - so newbies will be playing out of position tonight - not good against a veteran group like NJ.

Will be back here later with the freebie -

Small round robin with 3 home teams suggested by Northstar ---
Georgia ---- Ohio State ---- Mid Tennesee.

        good luck to all.

          free pick -- now 6-2

for full story of picks see post entitled "Question about free pick"

picks so far that I have been watching have been:

          11-2 lakers +9 won
          11-3 Pacers +5 1/2 won
11-4 Pistons -8 lost (this is where I started playing- figured)
          11-5 Dallas -5 won
          11-6 Phoenix -5 won
          11-7 Boston -6 1/2 won
          11-8 NJ -6 1/2 lost
          11-9 Boston -8 1/2 won

          Minnesota Timberwolves +4 1/2

Tuff part about this team is that history had nothing to do with alot of these players, almost a new team here.

Look at the other team that is a "new team" - The Celtics are now playing absolutly nothing like their recent history.

          Go get em "Big Al".

Both teams have begun this season in a slump. However, the winless Timberwolves could get a break. They have been successful in Sacramento, winning six of their last seven at ARCO Arena, going 4-3 ATS and won’t have to face Kings' guard Mike Bibby and forward Ron Artest.

Go with the Wolves. Minnesota is 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 road games and the dog in this series has covered the spread in seven of the last nine meetings. The Kings are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games as a favorite.

            11-9 Boston -8 1/2 won
            11-10 Minny +4 1/2 Lost now 6-3

            11-11 San Antonio -10 1/2

The Bucks are awful playing away from home, 0-3 on the road thus far this season, being outscored by an average of 13 points. Go with the Spurs at the AT&T Center. The home team has won seven of the last nine meetings. San Antonio defensive play will stifle the Bucks.

                  11-11 San Antonio -10 1/2 won NOW 7-3

                  11-12 JAZZ -13

ONLY 3 GAMES - NOT MUCH TO PIC FROM

The Kings have been successful against the Jazz, winning 11 of its last 13 in Utah. However, Sacramento has started the season not playing up to par. They are winless away from homer, 0-3 on the road and will face the hot Jazz tonight in Utah. To boot, they will be without their key player forward Ron Artest. Take the Jazz in Salt Lake City for their fourth straight victory. The line is lofty, but the Kings have lost their last three road games by 14 or more points.

                  good luck

As I said before - these are not my pics - I can't pick my seat - they are a "handicappers" free picks that seem to be better quailty than the ones I have seen in the past.
Well for some reason this capper did not post a free pick last night - and with all those games to pick from it should have been easy to find a good one. I looked at another and that capper went 3 for 3 (Celtics- NO - Det). I made a small round robin bet along with my best hockey under pick(Devils-Rangers under) - it blew but I did not lose any cash so all is well.

                            11-15 Dallas -2

Dallas has won three straight and six of the last nine meetings. The Mavericks are playing sound at home and have won and covered the spread in the last three meetings versus the Spurs. Expect a close fierce battle between these Southwest Division rivals. Go with the home team.

This guy hasn't missed 2 in a row yet. Tonite might be a good time to play. Bad news though if I jump on it. Certain death.
