Coach Ron Zook of the Illini is up
to his old tricks landing a major recruit today..

Silently coach Zook has put together a
top 15 recruiting class already and he aint done

Today 6' 4" 255lb tight end Hubie Graham
commits to Illinois. Graham plays at West Stranton
hs.... is A 13th ranked tight end and a 4 star player.

Illinois has picked up up a gem, Graham has over
    30 offers on the table....

The horses around the country want to play
and where better to play as a frosh and get some
immediate PT than Illinois as an up and coming program.

Not going to get into a pissing match with you Mr. Vegas b/c obviously you are an idiot, but please post something that someone may actually give 2 shits about yourself.

          Keep the info coming Carpet!!

              ILLINI LAND TWO MORE STARS

This has been one heck of a week for Coach Ron
              Zook and the Illini......

While Zook was watching his prized Recruit
Graham Pocic play this weekend in the 6A Illinois
High School Football Championship game, he
              was also busy recruiting.....

Pocic by the way is a 6-7 313lb Giant OT
who plays for Lemont Illinois. Fast and a 4 star
stud coming in.....(Lemont lost the game 47-14
to Joliet Catholic it was Catholics 13th state championship)

Today Illinois receives verbals from two 4 star players

2 Iowa recruits have decomitted from Iowa and
commited to Illinois.....Carpet thinks that the
coaching change at Iowa has alot to do with this...

Coach Kirk Ferentz of Iowa is rumored to be
the lead coach for Michigan now vacant position...

              A LOOK AT THE PLAYERS

Jason Ford a # 16 player in the Midwest.
              A 5-10 220lb Running back from Althoff
HS Bellville Il, 4 star runs a 4.4 forty yard dash
A Strong punishing type of back with speed.

              Russell Ellington 6-3 220lbs 3 star
prospect who plays for Home wood Flossmoor
IL.....This kids stock is rising.......as far as play...
Ellington who has comitted to Iowa 2 times only
to back out again and chose Illinois...

Iowa coaching change debacle will have an effect
on those good players on the fence, any team that
is experiencing a coaching change will see prize
              recruits drift away.

Linebacker J Leman voted first team All America LB
first time since Simeon Rice for Illinois.

Leman who puts the Pain in Champaign made
124 tackels this year leading Illinois to a 9-3
record and 21st ranked rushing Defense in the land.

J Leman continues a long standing tradition
of Illinois Linebacker greats such as .....

                Dick Butkus
                Ray Nitschke
                Simeon Rice

                Well done J Leman

It's pretty obvious that anybody calling themselves "Mr. Vegas" has never been to such a resort -- if he offers no posting ethics in regards to the insight of fellow handicappers with the reputation that our Mr. Carpet brings to the table......................And that's about as nice as I can put it..........Not that I'm anyone to categorize such a malcontent, but anyone here on this forum, whether old or new that doesn't recognize or pay heed to a perennial contributor with the importance of one of our "main men", then perhaps they have no business laying their shortcomings on us -- period.

I may or may not be in the majority of what we feel here on the Forum, but please allow my Carpet buddy to voice his expertise on the subject of leading us to the winning sides of things, and keep your selfish-assed, non-serving loser comments to yourself and your bookie..........Thank you, son.

                    agreeement

I will second the motion here Mr Moone-miester -- Vegas guy has an agenda - or must have lost a biggie to Illini somewhere down the road.

the Carpet an knows his stuff - and I look forward to a good season with his guidence. thanks man.

                      ILLINOIS Rose Bowling ???

Carpet believes that with all the upsets
today that Illinois will come to the Rose Bowl

Illinois vs USC is my review.

Illinois has not been to the Rose Bowl
                      since 1984

The Rose Bowl The GRAND DADDY of them all
with an expected payout of over 17 million dollars.

USC has played in the Pretty Flower Bowl 31 times
and winning 23, last out for USC 2007

Carpet believes this to be solid as a matchup
                      prediction.
