After 14 gallons of Orange Kool-Aid
Carpet is back to lick the wounds

What I saw was a young team that lost
due to inexperience at the BIG LEVEL.

Every Bounce of the Ball went to USC.

Illini turn it over 4 times twice in the red zone
huge momentum killers for this young team.

Rashard Mendenhall RB of Illinois is a beast
and he showed his NFL skill running through
USC's 5 star Defense.

USC was better prepared for this game
than Illinois (guess you cant give Pete Carroll
4 weeks to prepare) if your playing USC.

USC could of beat the St Louis Rams yesterday
at home, they were just that good.

While the season ends on a Loss for Illinois
a bright spot remains for this program, they are
only going to get better. The influx of new quality
recruits will compliment the squad as they push
for a new level of play.

I looked at this game inside and out and
really thought IF Illinois plays turn over free
football they will be in the game. Well they didnt

Sorry to all who jumped onto the Carpet

Thanks for the insight Carpet. I was on them too and it was tough to watch. I jumped on USC in the second half to make a couple bucks back b/c I thought they were just being man-handled and exploited in all apects.



I watched the game at a sportsbar where one dude brought food coloring to make turn beer orange. Pretty cool idea I thought. And I even broke out an orange shirt for the game too.

I look forward to watching this team in the future and your Illini Hoops.
