CBB 7:00PM Western Michigan -3½ at Ball State
Ball state is a bad team and got lucky on Sunday catching a sleeping CMU team. This one shoulkd go as planned for WMU wiht a win and cover.
CBB 7:00PM Purdue -1½ at Iowa
Iowa has no offensive firepower. Actually looking at the UNDER 120. Mich State was sleeping too, as they lost to Iowa last time out. Iowa is not the team that beat MSU--Just had a good game. Like purdue to roll here.
CBB 8:00PM Missouri at Iowa State +5½
Went back and forth ont his one on whether to play it. Not really playing on ISU here b/c they are a good team, but mostly b/c they are at home and catching Mizzou off the huge win vs. Texas last time out. A bit of a let down here for the Tigers it a close one where ISU may sneak in a win. See this one kind of like Neb/Colo last night. Mizzou is better but may be a bit road-weary.
CBB 8:00PM Florida Atlantic +18 at Western Kentucky
I think this is a few too many points. FAU looked tough last time out and they may keep this one wihtin 10-12.
CBB 11:00PM Utah +1 at San Diego State...Circled this one and the line moved away from the +2.5 it was the morning. Still like Utah to steal grab a road win here.
58-56 YTD in college hoops monitored at freesportsmoniutor.com. Not setting the world on fire but just a few wins away from the + side.
Thin the above 5 plus my AF play are all solid today.

4-2-1 on the day.
Dayton lost SU. Utah lost by quite a bit at SD State. Fla-Atlantic just got the push.
ISU won SU....watched some of that game and mizzou looked horribel for about a 10 minute stretch-lots of turnovers and stupid play. But came back and had a shot to tie it late but ISU made their foul shots. Good win for ISU but I still think they are weak.
WMU blew Ball st out as expected.
Purdue pulled away from Iowa late int he 2nd half to get the win and cover.
Air Force won Su.
Kind of the night I like.
So far Thursday I like Vandy +11 at Tenny and Indy -2 at Minny.
Two road teams which scares me.

Like that Butler Play.
Heres what I played today-sticking with 3.
Vandy +10.5 over Tennesee...One of those lines that is wierd looking. Tenny has huge home court edge but Vandy is a good team off a loss to UK.
Indy -2 over Minny...Close one but Indy pulls away kinda of like Purdue did last night at Iowa.
Fresno State -2 over San Jose State...SJ main scoring threat is out after an injury at Hawaii. Think its a good spot for Fresno as SJ may still be on vacation mentally after the Monday Hawaii trip.

Well only a few that i really like today:
Marquette +3 at Louisville
Tenn Martin +11.5 at Austin Peay
Oregon +2 at Washington
Boise St +5.5 at Utah State
Eastern Washington -4 vs Northern Colorado
For the most part they are all on the road and are all dogs... I believe that some of them will win outright (Oregon, Marquette) and the others won't get covered. I like Oregon the most because I believe they are playing the best they have all year right now.

2-2 on the day and a bit of profit with the + odds on the parlay.
Vandy for got to show up and Fresno kept it close but could not pull it out at San Jose.
Nothing for friday.
Back on Saturday.
College hoops is tough to beat right now in my opinion...lines are firming up but I am taking it all in for future plays. have to learn from the losses too.

CBB is very tough right now. Favorites across the board continue to cover at about a 52% clip. Unfortunately for the season i'm only picking about 48%. I've had my nights but then a streak like the last week comes along and knocks me right back down. Having trouble with the home teams the last week and a half. To me most of the better teams have been on the road in possibly their first or second conference road game. Struggles are to be expected that is why the lines are usually only 1 or 2 points. But at the same time, I'm having a hard time laying off the better team because I think they can still win the game. So far they haven't. For this week alone if you simply bet the home team you would have hit at nearly a 75 % clip! But its pretty hard for me to take the home team when i know they aren't the better team and they are only getting 2 points. The lines have been pretty good but there are still some good values out there. Going forward I am going to look for some of the better teams to start winning and covering on the road because thats what should happen if they truly are the better team.
For tonight there are 2 games on the slate. I like Iona -3 at home the most. I also like Niagra -13 at Canisius. However, this is another danger game because Niagra is on the road. I still like Niagra in this game. Canisius has been able to keep some games close and has been blown out in others by similar competition. They are pretty inconsistent whether its home/away, etc. Also, even though Canisius is at home I don't feel that there is as big of a home court advantage here for them as there would be if Niagra was playing a big time program with a sellout crowd. I'd be surprised if more than 2,000 people show up for this game which doesn't make for much of a crowd backing. The better team should win..its just a matter of whether they'll cover the 13. Hoping for a 30% shooting night from Canisius and Niagra should get an easy cover.

Well as predicted...Iona won and covered easily after a 15 pt victory. However, Niagra fell to canisius by 8. Making canisius a 20pt cover. I never thought that Niagra would lose this game but deep down i had a pretty strong feeling that they wouldn't cover. Still its hard to bet on a team that is winless in the conference even if they are at home. But once again, records and stats didn't matter. The home team was all you needed to know. Both won and covered last night. And that 30% shooting i was hoping for was more like 50% from Can..Niagra hit that beautfiul 30% mark though.....
