i.e. when Taxman is informed [by Jeff and by me] that he has repeatedly mis-stated the W-L record of a certain participant in this contest and then does nothing over a four-week period to ensure that the standings are, in fact, now being published accurately ... that's a bad sign to me.

He has told me that the 12:30 deadline has been removed, per his request.
