I don't want to clog up woodee's thread so I'll start my own.
    YTD: Plays 5-4 +$112, Leans 2-0 +$210 (based on $100 plays)

    Friday 4/17
OV 9 Even Florida (Nolasco 1-1, 7.36) at Washington (Lannan 0-2, 10.00) - Neither of these pitchers is right yet. Plus, Washington is averaging 5.25 runs per game on offense and giving up an average of 7 per game. They have given up 5 or more in 7 of 8 games, and Lannan has lasted just 9 innings total in 2 starts and has given up 10 runs, 15 hits and 3HR. Nolasco hasn't fared much better, giving up 9 runs in 11 innings. Florida has averaged 6.4 runs per game on offense.
San Diego +155 (Young 2-0, 1.38) at Philadelphia (Hamels 0-1, 17.18) - Chris Young has been dominant in his 2 starts, giving up just 2 ER in 13 innings with 12 SO and just 2 BB. Hamels is not quite right yet dating back to spring training. He lasted just 3.2 innings in his first start at Colorado, giving up 7 runs on 11 hits. The Pads are 6-1 in their last 7 games and have scored 6 or more runs in 5 of their last 6 games.
Chicago White Sox +155 (Colon 1-0, 0.00) at Tampa Bay (Shields 1-1, 3.65) - This is a play just if Evan Longoria is still out. White Sox are 4-1 in their last 5, the Rays have lost 3 in a row. Longoria is their hottest bat, hitting .441 with 5 HR and 12 RBI. Take out Jason Bartlett and Carlos Pena, and the rest of yesterday's lineup is batting under .244, with 6 of them under .212.

I may add a couple leans tomorrow.

Longoria is probable, so I won't play the White Sox.

    adding:
NY Mets -122 (Hernandez 1-0, 2.70) vs Milwaukee (Bush 0-0, 6.14) - Pretty small price for the Mets at home vs a Brewer team that is just 3-6 on the year and lost only won once in the last 5 games.

      YTD: Overall 7-5 +$268, (Sides 7-2 +$568, RL's 0-1 -$100, O/U's 0-2 -$200) Leans 2-0 +$210 (based on $100 plays)

      Saturday

Florida RL -1.5 +145 (Johnson 2-0, 0.57) at Washington (Olsen 0-2, 14.63) - Florida has been the hottest team in baseball thus far at 9-1 overall and having won 5 in a row. Josh Johnson is 2-0 with a miniscule 0.57 ERA, giving up just a single run over 15 innings of work, with 15 SO's to just 1 BB. Scott Olsen has lasted just 8 innings total in 2 starts and has given up 13 ER's. Washington is 1-8 so far and have given up 8 runs each in Olsen's 2 starts.
OV 10.5 -115 Yanks (Wang 0-2, 28.93) vs Cleveland (Carmona 0-2, 9.00) Two rag arms who have combined to give up 25 runs, 27 hits and 12 walks in their first 2 starts.
Seattle -130 (Bedard 1-0, 2.03) vs Detroit (Jackson 0-0, 3.38) - Gotta go with the hot hand. Seattle 7-1 in their last 8 games, and Bedard has given up just 3 runs over his 2 starts, with 15 SO's to just 1 BB. Detroit just 1-4 on the road thus far.

        adding for Saturday
2-0 today so far with Florida rallying for the 3 run win, and the NYY/Cle game has flown over the total with 18 runs scored already, and it's just the 5th inning! Sea/Det still to be played. I'm going to push my luck a little and make a couple more picks.

OV 9.5 -105 San Diego (Hill) at Philadelphia (Myers) - San Diego has scored 6 or more runs in 6 of their last 7 games. Philadelphia has scored 7 or more runs in 5 of their last 7 games. Philadelphia is giving up an average of 6.8 runs per game so far, and have given up at least 4 runs in every game this year. And they have given up 8 or more runs in 5 of their last 7 games. Myers has given up 4 runs and 3 HR's in each of his 2 starts. That's 6 HR's in just 13 innings.
OV 9 -115 LA Angels (Oliver) at Minnesota (Slowey) - Angels bringing reliever Oliver in for a spot start here. Twins Slowey has given up 5 runs in each of his 2 starts, and has given up a combined 22 hits, 10 runs and 4 HR's in just 11 innings. Minnesota has given up 30 runs in their last 3 games, and have given up 5 or more runs in 10 of their 12 games. 7 of the Angels 10 games have totaled 9 runs or more, and 4 of the Twins 6 home games have gone over this total.
OV 9 EVEN Kansas City (Grienke) at Texas (Millwood) - These 2 pitchers have been awesome so far, however, all 6 games at Arlington Stadium has gone over 10 runs this year.....114 runs have been scored in the 6 games, for an average of 19 runs per game.

          4-2 on Saturday +2.15 units
          YTD: Overall 11-7 +4.83 units, (Sides 7-3 +4.38 units, RL's 1-1 +0.45 units, O/U's 3-3 +0 units) Leans 2-0 +2.1 units (leans not counted in stats)

          Sunday

Pittsburgh -105 (Duke 2-0, 0.59) vs Atlanta (Vasquez 0-1, 4.50) - The Braves in a major offensive funk losing last 5 in a row and getting shut-out last 2. The Braves have scored just 8 runs total during their 5 game skid, and just 2 runs in their last 3 games. They have batted just .189 as a team, with 1 HR during that same period. Duke pitching well for the Bucs, giving up just 3 runs in 2 starts. In his only home start he got the complete game, 4-hit shut-out over Houston.
UN 8.5 -120 San Francisco (Johnson 0-2, 11.42) vs Arizona (Scherzer 0-0, 5.40) Kind of scary taking the under with Randy Johnson pitching, but these are 2 of the lowest scoring teams in MLB so far. Arizona is batting just .229 as a team, and have averaged just under 3.5 runs per game, and have scored 2 runs or less in 7 of their 11 games. The Giants are batting just .237 as a team, averaging 3.2 runs per game, and have scored 3 runs or less in 8 of their 11 games, and have scored over 4 runs just twice. Maybe Johnson will pitch better against his former teammates. Scherzer has a respectable 3.25 ERA in his 61 total innings in The Bigs.
LA Dodgers -115 (McDonald 0-1, 13.50) vs Colorado (Jiminez 1-1, 2.53) - Gotta go with the hot hand, as the Dodgers have won 7 in a row and are 5-0 at home so far. McDonald had a rough first outing in his first ML start, lasting just 2.1 innings at Arizona. He sailed through the first 2 innings, but then HR, fly out, walk, walk, hit-by-pitch, walk, and single did him in. Hopefully he got the nerves out of his system and will do much better at home. Colorado is just 1-5 in their last 6 games, and Jiminez likes to walk batters. In 2 starts, totaling 10.2 innings this year, he's issued more walks (9) than hits (8). Over his career, he's been good for an average of nearly 4.6 walks per 9 innings.
